Continuing our “Any audio show on the COVID 19 desert island is a GREAT audio show” (and Capital Audiofest is our current favorite audio show, anyway) ….even if the report *is* 5 months late… 🙂

With these posts, why don’t you provide something useful like thoughts on the system? Otherwise, I find these posts useless.
[sorry for the late response. I originally thought this question was on youtube then someone removed it or something… easily confused these days, I guess]
After 40+ show reports, many trying innovative ways of communicating “thoughts on the system” – we are now trying the ‘listen for yourselves’ approach. The advantages of this latter approach is that you, the listener, do not have to deal with how my preferences are coloring my description of the sound [even though my preferences rock and really should be exactly the same as everyone else’s preferences – in practice this approach fails to be universally welcomed].
I am also loathe to turn the videos into a marketing vehicle by pointing out the ‘new gear’ in the room (Stereophile et. al.) or whispering platitudes (AVShowrooms)
That said, I do feel an urge coming on to point out the differences that *I* hear between two videos that are also reflective of the differences *I* heard live in the rooms when I recorded them…
Thanks for your comment [really. Uselessness is better than average internet fare these days :-)]
