Where we have a blast being exhibitors at a hi-fi show
RMAF 2004
This was the first year of RMAF and our first time as exhibitors
RMAF 2005
Our second efforts at being exhibitors. We weren't so crazy yet that we couldn't fit everything into a minivan and station wagon, but you could tell we certainly were 'at risk'.
RMAF 2006 Large Room
This was the year that the Marten Coltrane Supreme 5-box speakers arrived at the show. It was also the year that we had a blizzard while we were moving gear down our 45 steps to our rented truck.
RMAF 2006 Small Room
This was the first year we had two rooms at this show: a large room with all kind of stuff and a small, normal-sized room with a 100% Audio Note U.K. system.
RMAF 2007 Large Room
We brought the Marten Coltrane Supreme speakers once again this year. This was probably our favorite year at this show.
RMAF 2007 Small Room
This year our 100% Audio Note U.K. room featured a less expensive, $15K hifi system.
CES 2008 Large Room
Our first year at CES as exhibitors and our first run in with the Audio Note Kegon Balanced amp and the new even more simplified AN amp architecture
CES 2008 Small Room
This was the hi-fi system from our third listening room, transported to Las Vegas for the show.
RMAF 2008 Large Room
This was probably our busiest year at RMAF and one that taxed our ability to fit things into the 10 foot truck - even with help from a luxury sedan
RMAF 2008 Small Room
Our small, 100% Audio Note room was one of the more expensive rooms this year at RMAF
CES 2009
This system struck a chord and opened up several people's ears (including some other exhibitors) to what Audio Note (in combination with Nordost Odin and HRS platforms) can actually do.
RMAF 2009 Large Room
This was the year we put the Audio Note speakers in the big room. It surprised people that 1) they filled the room with sound and 2) they were in the corners. It was a great exhibition.
RMAF 2009 Small Room
A nice small inexpensive Audio Note system. Very appropriate for the height of the Great Recession.
CES 2010
The mostly Audio Note U.K. room featured their Gaku-On amps on our AN/E SEC Signature speakers.
RMAF 2010
We'd lost our big room we had for five years to our closest competitor, us being several days late on a payment in March for this October show. Our new small room featured one of our very favorite systems from our 2nd listening room.
RMAF 2011
This was our last time as exhibitors at RMAF. People couldn't find us after we lost our big room on floor 9, and, with the overall attendance declining year after year, the "It's a party and we get to be DJ!" feel just wasn't happening anymore.
Newport 2014
A very upbeat show, reminding me of the early days at RMAF. Shows can be fun again! Neli spent almost all her time here as exhibitor while I went about taking photos for Instagram.
RMAF 2014
We were guest DJs [aka exhibitors] for the Audio Note U.K. room this year. Featuring the little Audio Note J/D speakers, nicely setup and sounding great.

A show is a beauty contest, and it is about presentation, customer relations, sound, aesthetics, reliability, … EVERYTHING. And from this a person can get a good feel for the quality of a manufacturer and about what they value.
A show is a university for your ears. Learn what kinds of sounds there are (literally many thousands) and what you like. Shows are unpredictable, and don’t we all know it. So, leave those brains on, eyes wide and ears open people!
