Chillin’ 2
Welcoming a new member to the audiophile Chillin’ community.
Yes, quite a story behind this opportune side-by-side comparison of the similarly priced Acapella “Cellini High” speakers and their “Campanile 2” speakers.
Let’s just say, in my opinion [and I think the others present], in this size of a room (20 feet by 30 feet) the Campanile was better in just about every way and in some ways much better [dynamics, general openness of the sound from bass to midrange].
This looks so much more comfortable than putting our feet up on our glass-top table…
Neli, wearing socks! Also chillin’…
The C2s are settling in! For a larger room, Id say they are fantastic in every way, and an upgrade that the relative pricing wouldnt seem to suggest. This makes the c2 a good relative value. I was nervous about a swap away from the cellini high, however the c2 just pressures the room easier. The sound is effortless…
Those C2’s Impressive, I am an audio mastering engineer and I work in an acoustically tuned environment so i can hear all the imperfections and fix them to make them radio ready and also make them translate well onto other sound systems. The C2’s look amazing and im thinking about getting a pair of them for my mastering studio and suing them as reference speakers. Anyway nice job, very awesome!
Thanks, Chuck. We’ve had recording engineers listen to their various masters here (back in Colorado). Boy, did their eyes get big! 🙂
Take care,
-Mike
