Unfortunately, the amplification was turned up too loud and was distorting quite a bit.
Otherwise, the vocalist was quite good, IMO.

Newport 2015 – Maps
Maps of the THE SHOW Newport 2015. The show is on floors 1,2,3,4 and 10,11,12,13,14.
Some of the large rooms on floor 1, the main floor, look quite nice. The rooms upstairs are a little small. But there are various exceptions to this rule.
For example, Audio Federation (Neli and I) and Acapella are in a weird shaped one that is larger (at the end of a hall on floor 2)… but, you know, it is weirdly shaped, for good or bad.
Yay!
They were missing until about 10:30 this morning.
They are now attached to the speakers and everything is working great.
Where were they?
They were out in the Headphonium area by the pool. We did not know there WAS a headphonium area by the pool [Didn’t even know there was a pool]. Now we will never forget 🙂
Thanks to everyone who helped find them, and sorry to be a bother to all the rest of ya. Ugh.
Newport 2015 – Acapella and Audio Federation room setup

Still have to add the blue horns to these Acapella Atlas speakers.
The Audio Note front end (CDT-5 transport and DAC 5 Signature) and Acapella LaMusika integrated amp are warming up nicely already.
THE Show: Newport 2015 – The Hotel Irvine
Yep..THE Show, Newport, takes place in the Hotel Irvine. But it is almost, very close to, Newport Beach.
And it sounds way cooler….
So…
The Hotel Irvine has only been open 4 months… It is quite nice. Big and modern and free internet 🙂 And Neli thinks it is the best hotel yet for THE Show 🙂 [and it is].
I think all those pipes and joints are supposed to be artistic – not vestiges of construction activity.

THE SHOW Newport 2015 – Driving through Utah from Colorado to California.
There are some spectacular natural scenes during this drive. I only caught a few of them on Camera, mostly as we left Colorado and made our way into Utah.

About half way driving through Utah on I-70 as we head toward I-15. Time for me to drive, so no more photos.
Awesome thing about this drive is that every 30 to 60 seconds the landscape changes into something completely different and amazing
