Thanks again to Audio Note U.K. for contributing the awesome digital front end. They make us smile everytime we hear them – a clearly audible improvement over other digital.
As always, Mike’s pictures are superb; however, there are other good photographers. What I have always thought that you and Mike added was your unique perspective on the equipment, the rooms and the sound. I particularly remember your show article after the CES where we first heard the Acapella Campaniles and the way you so accurately described how they differed from big box speakers. In the same vein, I remember your mixologist commentary. Would it be too much a stretch to hope that you and Mike will get bac to that type of insightful reporting?
Any thoughts on the Beast?
I am not a ‘good photographer’. I point the thing and push a little button. What we do is exhaustive, complete show reports. AFAIK only our friends in China do something similar.
And… if this is your way of trying to get Neli to post on the blog… good luck with that – I’ve been trying to get her to post more for 14 years. I would love to have her post her opinions. She however, prefers talking one-on-one [while I enjoy talking to millions… *cough* 🙂 ]
Sorry you guys did not make it this year. Didn’t miss that much unfortunately. A lot of the usual crowd decided not to attend this year.
