Nice pictures. But who was taking these photos that could not recognize a Magnepan 1.7? Or at least take the time to ask what they were instead of calling them “unknown panel speakers.

Your attempt to be derisive has kind of fallen flat considering that 1) you put this comment on the wrong room and 2) neither I nor Google can find any “unknown panel speakers” phrase on our site.
And, although Magnepan does make great speakers, for the money, they can be confused with some King Audio speakers, or even some SoundLab speakers, in photos taken from a limited number of angles, especially by someone who is much more familiar with the upper parts of the high-end audio marketplace [I do remember something like this happening in this show report… oh several hundred thousand rooms ago ;-)].
Perhaps you can indicate which room this was?
