Nittobo Acoustic ‘Acoustic Groove System’ room treatments worked well here according to Santy (Tri) [I did not get to hear the ‘before’ room treatment sound]
The big Venture speakers sounded better than I think I’ve heard them before as well (those are Venture’s amps as well).
The big Sonus Faber speakers are nicer looking this year, huh? Last year must of been some kind of cosmic ray thing…

This YG Acoustics system with the Tenors sounded better than at RMAF – perhaps because the source was a CD player, when I was there, and not a hard drive?

As usuak, your pictures are absolutely gorgeous, but I hope that at some point you will have something to say about rooms/ equipment that you found interesting. From prior experience, I know that these rooms are not a good sonic venue, but occasionally the sound is surprisingly godd.
I wish I could have been there again this year. I was especially curious about the big MBL system and would love to see some comments about its sound. I am also curious about the sound of the Tidal and Ktena systems. Any favorite rooms thus far?

This is the first show in a few shows where I am taking photos of everything and anything, and as I get time and certainly in the full report, we’ll (Neli is getting to these rooms too) will have something to say about the sound. We have about 2000 photos so far and hopefully will have several more by Friday 🙂
