Newish Ultra High End Audio Forum
It is called, somewhat clearmindedly, the Ultra High End Forum.

I haven’t spent much time there, but they do have a lot of photos from Axpona:
As far as “I think they [Corona Plasma Drivers] mate better with [Lansche speaker] dynamic drivers than they [Acapella Plasma Tweeters] do with the Acapella horns.”… well, it’ll certainly make the Lansche people happy to hear that their hard work is going in the right direction. It is certainly a different ‘kind’ of mating… both plasma tweeters having to be ‘slowed down’ to the speed of the other drivers. Horns are, of course, faster and so more similar in this way to the plasma tweeters – but the Lansche 2-way we heard was certainly fairly nicely integrated, and it is nice to hear that it looks like the larger, and much more difficult 3-way is doing a good job as well [heck, 95% of speakers can’t integrate their own drivers from the same manufacturer very well, so…. :-)].
I took a look at a couple of the show reports on ultrahighwhatever. Considering that pix of the gear seemed to be the main point of the reports, the photography was . . . suprising.
“Ultra high-end home theater” is what attracted my attention. Have I visited your ultra-high end theater room, or are you still putting the finishing touches on it?
And when are Lamb and Audio Note coming out with their 5-6 channel equipment?
Mac
Hi Mac,
“Ultra high-end home theater” ? No and I do not see where you saw that phrase. [actually, we do plan on doing one, but that is WAY into the future at this point].
Never. I mean, that is my assessment of the situation – personally never having broached the subject with them – that they would just say that one can by monoblocks and stereo amps today that one can use to get the 5-6 channels if a listener is interested in this.
Take care,
Mike
