Audio Note at RMAF 2007

Anyone else using the new MS Word? It comes with your new PC (remember, ours got fried by lightning, so we both got a new one), even if you do not get Vista (which I didn’t). There is no ‘Save As’ option so I had to go out and into Windows Explorer and manually copy and rename the file. Geez.
Thanks everybody who emailed that the SAVE AS is found by clicking on the big red blog in the upper left hand corner of the window.
I had clicked on it in some other context, but the Save As LURKING there separate from the Save hadn’t made a big enough impact to make me remember it.
Now for my next problem with the new Word… The images in a document don’t show up for a looooong time. I bet there is a secret keystroke to make them load faster? Or is it just this slow on my box that is made for navigating immense 3D spaces in real-time in Doom but in which Word can’t load 10K GIFs worth a darn?
I could go on about left justify appearing all the time but plain justify you have to click then click then… and image widths are all in inches, what about pixels? Hello?
But I won’t because this is a blog about high-end audio, right?
We just loaded up the truck to take to the RMAF show tomorrow. We had help for a dear friend, but I am still throbbing all over.
