Stuck my head in here when they were playing Girl from Ipanema. Begin very familiar with high quality renderings of this song and also the turntable [which we’ve had for many years now… :-)] – my conclusion was that this was woefully under-damped and out of control in the mids and lower mids.

Yes, yes, the speakers are apparently too big for the room and I will make it to the similar Walker room with the smaller TAD speakers to see what reportedly is a somewhat better sound.

They were playing a reel-to-reel tape machine in here – as were several others at the show. The overall effect here was of a full, rounded, even sound that filled the room. Liked this much better than their similar room at CES earlier this year. Will try to get back for a detailed listen.
