The three M3 Isolation Bases that came with the equipment rack. The forth will eventually be our custom HRS M3 Isolation  Base made specifically for the Brinkmann Balance turntable. But until we get to that point, we are just going to use an M3 that we already had here as the forth and top shelf.

The MXR is now in its final position. It still has protective covering on the sides to keep finger prints off and to protect the finish in case we do something stupid.

We had to tear the protective covering a little in order to stick our hands in the slots in the side so that we could carry the rack.

We spent a good deal amount of time trying to center the rack - our walls are no where near symmetrical in any way - and to level the rack. It turns out that one of the four feet of the rack was on a part of the floor that was higher by about 1/4" than the other three feet.

The first shelf! The way I placed these heavy guys on the rack was to put one hand over the top of the M3 Isolation Base and grab the rear of the base and with the other hand grabbing the front inserting the base in from the front - me standing somewhat slightly sideways to the front of the rack.
