Previously, on the Audio Federation high-end audio (Medium Resolution) CES 2008 Show Report that is finally get close to an end in our lifetimes, it is now Thursday afternoon, the last day, and we are starting on the second of the last two Venetian hallways (Wings) we need to do [not including floor 35, which just has a couple of rooms].

This room was busy, or at least people kept clustering around what I wanted to photograph whenever I came back here.

Talon loudspeakers, VAC amplifier, Rives room correction device, Sooloos media server front end.

Phase Technology speakers, Induction Dynamics amplifiers, Theta processing. Nobody was playing their systems very loud this year, so that alone made it hard to compare this to similarly-sized PHC in-wall speakers that we heard at CEDIA's T.H.E. Show - which were played as loud as one might imagine one would want.

Smaller Phase Technology speakers.

More Phase Technology loudspeakers in a store-layout kind of setup with McIntosh electronics.

Sonus Faber-like speakers on Audio Research electronics.

At this point in this Wing, the thought of not getting done with this before the show closes is in the front of my mind, and the photo montage is less montagish than perhaps we have gotten used to in other parts of the report.

Escalante loudspeakers, Electrocompaniet electronics and digital.

Talon loudspeakes, VAC-value electronics and amplification, Rives room-correction. It looks like they are using the laptop as the digital source and a soundcard in the laptop as the DAC.

Looks like they got the right channel attenuated by 4dB at 175 Hz += 1 octave (or 1 Hz). One can easily imagine that the left channel is attenuated in a similar manner.

Audio Design Associates (ada) makes electronics and stuff for in-wall systems.

Audio Physic loudspeakers with Lindemann electronics and digital.

Audio Physic speakers including the Tempo VI.

DeVore speakers, Ayre electronics, Spiral Groove turntable

SENTEC equalizer.

Ayre CD player.

Ayre linestage

The smaller Bolzano speaker system on a home theater setup with Sunfire Receiver.

The larger Bolzano system with Behold electronics.

Naim Audio setup with Basis turntable.
