The Denver city light rail goes right underneath the Convention Center. Conveeenient for some people. We.... we drive in from Boulder.

This report starts off a little slow, as it always seems to take awhile for us to get our 'show bearings' and figure out what is 'hot' each year.

Sharp had one of those sign trucks driving around...

THE bear.

Life|ware was advertising heavily. There seems to always be one company that spends $$$ on advertising at one of these conventions.

THE bear trying to get in...

Riding the escalator up the the main convention on the 2nd floor... or, the onramp to unidentified flying CEDIA objects.

The first of many booths talking about their user interfaces for managing media servers.

The new McIntosh turntable.

The new McIntosh MT10 turntable.

The tonearm

The platter 'glows' McIntosh blue.

McIntosh has a projector...

Their demonstration system.

A rotating Klipsch speaker

The speaker is side-ported.

Close-up of the Mirage tweeter

Baby Mirage surrounds on top of a subwoofer.

A painted speaker Neli did not care for.

Just in case some sales guy gets too pushy...

Another theme of the show - people basing their business models on people not wanting to see speakers.

What does that MEAN? In any case, Wisdom has some in-wall speakers over there on the right.

Thiel in-wall speakers.

Final Sound speakers.

I presume these are speakers they are stapling to straps between studs in the wall...

Looks... different.
