Sony, Krell, Talon, Savant, Sony again, the Amp Toss, and more...

We stopped by the Sony booth on the 3rd day - decided we were going to seriously try and decide on what TVs to get (see the full report for details).

More of the 'people hate speakers' crowd.

The 70 inch XBR5

The new Krell Modulari Duo loudspeaker

The new Krell Modulari Duo loudspeaker - THE rear.

Krell modular system for the iPod - the Krell Kid and Papa Dock.

A honking big TV.

Panasonic Plasma

The LCD fireplace was cool - but that is one heck of a flame there.

Fusion Research GUI.

Talon loudspeaker.

Talon loudspeaker connector that connects the Hawk to the Thunder.

Kharma-like connector, but two(!) so us bi-wire'ers can remain sane.

Savant's tabletop GUI for your media server.

Terra's loudspeakers that can handle the weather.

Terra's subwoofers for outdoors.

PHC's large-sized horn loudspeakers.

This is here because Neli and I are considering this Vu-tec screen for our own use. We need something to put between the Coltrane Supremes loudspeakers and watch movies, and then move out of the way later. Our ceiling is 24 feet high and its shape and aesthetic and construction makes it hard to hang a screen there.

We could move this back and forth in front of the speakers, but Neli thinks it weighs around 300 lbs.

There were a number of back-firing and here, up firing projectors. What is cool is that you can walk right up to them and not block the picture.. and the zero-sized frame border around the picture is nice too.

Cool video in a bar top in the Stewart booth.

A little entertainment for us men from Stewart too.

Marantz system had problems.

Over on the first floor, we only had 4 or 5 booths. Last year there were 100s.

Mike and Neli might need this if we get more encounters of the Lightning kind.

The new Sony VW60.

The new Sony VW200

Blu-ray versus HDDVD.

LG's new multi-player, plays Blu-ray and HDDVD.

The Amp Toss competition.
