Positioning
Speakers should be positioned in the corners (or close to the walls) for the best, and quite impressive, bass and dynamics. Positioned out into the room they will sound much more like the 2-way speaker they are, albeit with imaging second to none.
Blu-Tak (putty-like) can be used between the zpeaker and speaker base/crossover for optimial dynamics or 3 HRS Nimbus Couplers can be used for optimial resolution and finesse.
Amplification
Speakers are very efficient and can be driven by just about anything, from flea watt 3-watt amps on up, so, because small amps typically sound better, especially when cost is taken into account, a small but very nice sounding (typcially a tube) amplifier is recommended.
Cables
Speakers come with attached high-quality silver speaker cables to go from speaker to speaker stand/crossover. We've had good success with Audio Note cables as well as with other brands, in particular Nordost and Jorma Design and expect the few other high-quality speaker cables will also work.
