					<description>Hi Alpha,

Ha! I wondered when I wrote that if I should mention how we just use female visitors as an excuse to go in a faux panic and finally clean the house [not that it ever gets clean clean]. Otherwise it would really get pretty bad here :-) Other excuses are the arrival of reviewers, someone we haven't met before, it has been a year since the last cleaning, or when our bathrooms start resembling the one in the bar at the beginning of the movie 'Desperado'.

It does seem sometimes that women want the house to look clean if other women are visiting, and men want to have lots of Led Zeppelin laying around ... ;-)

Anyway, considering that a woman, Neli, more or less runs Audio Federation [depends on who gets the most excited about something - and Neli gets excited about running the place and designing people's systems] and I, a man, do the dusting... most of the time... I think that we are an equal opportunity slave driver.. oops, I MEAN BEACON in the darkness on this planet filled with hordes of both insensitive, and overly sensitive, arm-chair Wednesday-afternoon quarterbacks.

[Actually, only dusting for women guests is discriminatory ... against men. Which is easy to see if 'female' is replaced with 'male', or whatever ethnic group as the one we dust for. It implies that men are just slobs and do not care if things are dusty or not - which is far from true.... ;-). ]

Anyway, thanks for keeping me on my toes - and providing more excuses for Neli and I to make fun of each other ;-)

Take care,
Mike.</description>
