The party does sound like fun. Mike and Neli probably know pretty well that I enjoy electronic music quite a bit. I was surfing around the other day looking for new and interesting music, and I came across a site that (finally) gave me a decent understanding of the various genres (and sub-genres, and sub-sub-genres) within electronic music. It's even got samples of each type, so you can get a pretty good idea what's what. The site is http://www.di.fm/edmguide/edmguide.html . Of course, I read through the guide on a computer with no sound, so I can't say much about the samples, or their quality. I'm going to have to go back through it so I really get what's what.

Thanks, Aaron. They do indeed look more like Druids :-)

Yeah, the show (what I got to see of it) was a blast. It was great of ZU to put it on for us and amazing that they would even try to do something so audacious.

Take care,
Mike.

Hi Mike,

The ZU party sounds like it was a whole lot of fun and like you I am very fond of "techno" music having spent a good deal of my early 20's in Sydney's best underground dance clubs. Luckily, at 30 years of age, my hearing is still in tact and I am now able to enjoy the best of jazz, classical, vocals and everything in between. BTW, I am a ZU Definition Mk1.5 owner. The speakers in the picture look more like Druids than Definitions with a single wideband driver per cabinet. Very interesting.

All the best,
Aaron
